The worlds of independent music and entertainment production can seem like an overwhelming maze of options. Artists are pulled in every conceivable direction by the differing opinions of an industry which has become more and more unpredictable over the last decade. Roger Burnley, an artist in his own right, has negotiated the twists and turns of a career spanning the areas of music, modeling, recording, acting and teaching. His new enterprise, The Burnley Music & Entertainment Complex, provides a haven of trust, integrity and knowledge for aspiring artists.

It is the mission of

the Burnley Complex to provide comprehensive education and services pertaining to all aspects of the entertainment industry. Within this concept an artist could take their idea for a song, and find expert help with lyric and melody writing, work on their vocal and instrumental techniques, develop an image, record, shoot a music video and start promoting their act all within the network of affiliates that the Burnley Complex brings together. The Burnley Complex makes it possible for artists to retain their independence and still find the highest quality services at affordable rates and work with industry professionals who are as passionate about their clients as they are their craft.

Several exciting programs are taking place that will contribute to the overarching concept of independent artists’ education behind the Burnley Complex. Hollywood Talent Quest, a new reality singing competition, which focuses on singers ages 16 and up and all music styles, competing to win a fully produced and mastered 12-track CD and a live performance at the 2008 Hollywood Music Awards. With auditions beginning in September, 2008, this series will zero in on what it really takes to be a recording artist, following the education of the finalists as they compete for first place and also following the winner through their recording, promotion and finally, their on-stage debut.

This subscription-based site (launching in September, '08) will provide users all over the world with access to videos, articles and referrals from leading professionals in music and entertainment. Links to services, training and products with substantial discounts exclusive to website members will be available. The idea behind this site is to help artists develop a financially sustainable career by being able to access the information necessary to make smart choices and to find great deals on necessary services and equipment.
